We can do hard (FUN) things

We can do hard (FUN) things!

I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of done with proving to myself that I can do hard things.

Yes, I can do hard things—I’ve done plenty this year, last year, and the year before that. But I’m ready to trade that badge of honour for a new one.

No matter what’s happening in my external world, I choose to relax into it, make time for fun, and focus on the things that bring me joy (like writing this email, for example). Above all, I choose to look for love in every situation.

I know this might sound a bit pollyanna-ish, but I promise you, it’s not. I feel like I’m finally emerging from the other side of a long, dark tunnel I’ve been navigating for years.

Life throws us curveballs. It’s so easy to contract, to shield ourselves from the hurt, to hunker down and pour everything into building a future where we’re safe and permanently at ease.

But what about right now?

It takes real work to stay open to life’s experience—to let the feelings in and through, to trust that things are unfolding according to a plan, even if it’s not our plan. A better one. One that serves our growth.

And while all of this is happening, we must remember to dance.

A month ago, I took a deep breath and asked for your help in supporting our Black Friday BOGO sale. The outpouring of messages we received in response touched me deeply. This is where the magic is for me.

You showed up for us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You’ve helped me, our team, and this small business find renewed hope. There’s still a long road ahead, but your support reminds me why I started this journey and why I continue to believe in it.

Thank you again for being part of this community - your support means the world to me.

Let’s keep dancing.
